Hello to you all, well my
operation on the troublesome hernia has been and gone, and I'm in the
recuperation stage now, but I thought it time I did something about my news
item, so here goes.
Our activities have been
curtailed of late, with an annoying hernia, but thankfully, that is all behind
me, the operation seemed to be straightforward, and we can get back to normal,
after a period of some recuperation.
We don't have too much work
lined-up, a few rest-homes, locally, but we have a good booking in Nelson, on
the 1st of December, we are to be special guests at the STOKE OLD-TIME COUNTRY
MUSIC CLUB, at their 25th anniversary celebrations, in the Richmond Town Hall.
We are really looking forward to this, as we know they appreciate our style of
music down South.
We have pensilled in a special
concert in Otorohanga on the 6th of January, which will feature PETER POSA and
BOB AND SHIELA EVERHART of the U.S.A., and GINNY PETERS, New Zealand's
foremost Country Music songwriter. It should be some occasion.
Noelene and I have been asked
to participate in the OTOROHANGA COUNTY FAIR, on the 9th of February,
and are looking forward to that. We were booked in this year, but had to turn
it down, due to ill-health.
That's all I have for you this
trip, just keep smiling, and KEEP IT COUNTRY, till next time we meet.
