Kylie Austin

Kylie is a member of the Eastern Districts Country Music Club in Auckland and has been performing for about 15 years.

In this time she has had many successes both here in New Zealand and in Australia too.

She has been a finalist in the New Zealand Country Music

Entertainer of the Year on many occasions as a solo artist and also as part of a duo and a group.

She has also been a finalist in the New Zealand Songwriter of the Year awards. 

In 2004 she was the Maton Talent Search Winner at the Gympie Muster—which is the largest talent search of its kind in Australasia.

In 2005 Kylie was a graduate of the College of Country Music in Australia, this to date has been one of Kylies career highlights.

Kylie was part of the Senior Overall Winners North vs South at the 2006 Gold Guitar Awards which are held in Gore.

In 2007 Kylie was named Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year—something she has worked exceptionally hard for.

2008 is planned to be another big year for Kylie which will include the release of her Debut Album “when it rains” in May.
