One of Nelson (New Zealand) singer song writer Aly
Cook's newest compositions "Grow" has made it as a finalist
in the MLT Song writing Awards. "Grow" is one of 10
finalist songs in the award.
Aly will perform her song, with backing band, alongside the other finalists
& special guests performing at the evening including Don McGlashen and Mike
Moroney.

There were 189 entries in 2007.
The Winner and Runner-up will be announced at the MLT Songwriting Awards on
Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the Longford Function Centre, starting at 8.00pm.
Judges for 2007: Preliminaries: John Egenes, Catherine Short, Doug Wright,
Marcella Currie.
Additional Guest Judges of the top 10 songs: Don McGlashan, Ant Healey, Petrina
George, Mike Moroney and Cath Andersen.
